Terms and Conditions

Safety of your pet(s) and the driver is our number one priority. Pawsitive Travel shall not be liable for delays, loss, injury, or death of the animal(s) caused by acts of God, transportation delays, or events beyond our reasonable control. Pet Care Insurance is available as an optional add-on. We carry Pet Care Insurance through Lloyds London. Health Certificates are recommended. Failure to provide a current rabies certificate, and when required, a veterinary health certificate prior to transport will release Pawsitive Travel from liability for health complications arising during transit. Health certificates are required for pets over eight years of age and strongly recommended for all other pets.

Pet(s) will arrive at the drop off location in a timely manner, as listed on the Client Agreement Form. We typically drive 800 miles per day and in the event the driver is delayed, the driver will notify you (client). Once a drop off time is given, it may change due to, but not limited to, getting gas, restroom breaks, resting, traffic, road construction, weather related events, etc. Pawsitive Travel is not responsible for airline cancellations, delays, or restrictions. If you need more updates than stated, please inform the office at 731-803-7822. We will do our best to keep schedules as outlined in the Client Agreement Form.

Payment Terms

Clients must select one of the following payment options:

  • ●  Option 1: Full Payment – The total transport cost is due at time of booking. Payment accepted: credit, debit, or ACH.
  • ●  Option 2: Deposit – A deposit of 25% of the transport cost is due at time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon drop-off. A one-hour grace period is
allowed after drop-off; after that, a $200/day late fee applies until payment is received.
No payments may be handed directly to drivers, except tips, which are permitted. Client agrees not to initiate chargebacks; all disputes must be resolved pursuant to this Agreement. Once transport commences, the entire agreed amount will be owed. Pawsitive Travel will send an invoice via Square. There is no charge to change your dates, if the driver is not in route. We pay our drivers when they deliver, so please honor this payment schedule. By providing the deposit, you are acknowledging and accepting this contract.
NOTE: Rates are as agreed up on. Please do not discuss rates with drivers. Payments, other than tips, are not to be paid to drivers, any payments given to drivers will be considered as a tip. Invoices will still be due, even if payment is given to the driver. Tips are appreciated and go 100% to the driver(s). Once the transport has commenced, the entire agreed amount will be owed.
